A. What kind of personal information do we collect from you and when is it collected?
Information shared during purchase of products at our stores When you purchase meat products from our retail stores, the store team may collect certain personal details including the customer’s name and mobile phone number for the purpose of billing, customer identification, and order management. The store team may also create a customer account in the Company’s internal system using the collected phone number only upon obtaining the Data Principal’s prior, informed, and voluntary consent for account creation and the associated processing of personal data for future transactions, loyalty benefits, and promotional offers.

In order to avail certain Products, Offers, or loyalty benefits provided by the Company, you may be required to register on the Platform by providing certain details such as your name, mobile phone number, and email address. Further, for placing orders, including orders made through phone calls or WhatsApp, you may be required to provide additional information such as your name, phone number, email ID (if applicable), delivery address, and pin code for the purpose of processing and fulfilling the order. Information may also be collected in connection with participation in the Company’s loyalty programs, promotional schemes, or reward programs, which may include customer identification details and purchase-related information necessary for administering such programs.

Information from visitors and participation:

Visitors to the Platform may voluntarily provide certain personal information, including their name, email address, and phone number, for various purposes such as obtaining additional information regarding the Company’s products and offers, participating in surveys, promotional campaigns, or Company-sponsored events, submitting inquiries or feedback, or applying for employment opportunities through the Company’s career section. The Company does not store complete credit card or debit card authentication credentials on its systems. Payment information is processed through secure infrastructure maintained by authorized payment processors in accordance with applicable security standards including PCI-DSS, and where applicable, through RBI-compliant tokenisation frameworks.

If you contact our Company’s customer support service team through telephone, messaging platforms, email, or any other communication channels made available by the Company, we may collect and maintain certain information relating to your query, complaint, feedback, or service request. All third-party service providers who receive personal data from the Company shall be bound by a written Data Processing Agreement or a similar agreement with provisions that (i) restricts use of data to the purposes for which it was disclosed; (ii) requires technical and organisational security measures equivalent to those maintained by the Company; and (iii) prohibits onward transfer without MCM’s prior written consent. Data shared with advertising partners is pseudonymised or aggregated to the extent technically feasible. MCM does not knowingly permit advertising partners to re-identify Data Principals from such data.

Government or law enforcement authorities : Personal information may be disclosed to government authorities, regulators, or law enforcement agencies where such disclosure is required in order to comply with applicable legal obligations, regulatory requirements, or lawful requests from competent authorities. The Company may also disclose personal information where necessary to prevent, detect, investigate, or address suspected fraud, security incidents, illegal activities, or threats to the safety of any person. The Company shall, to the extent permitted by applicable law, endeavour to notify the Data Principal of any such disclosure request prior to disclosure and shall limit such disclosure to the minimum necessary information required to comply with the lawful request.
4. Associated business entities: The Company may share personal information with its affiliates, group companies, or associated business entities for legitimate business purposes such as offering relevant products, services, or promotional offers. In the event of any merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of business assets, customer information may form part of the assets transferred, subject to the commitments set forth in this Privacy Policy.

The third parties who work on behalf of Company are subject to written Data Processing Agreements and confidentiality obligations that meet the standards prescribed under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and any Rules notified thereunder, and that are reviewed and updated no less frequently than annually. Additionally, they are not allowed to share this information with anyone except on a need to know basis required for carrying out their functions.

D. How do we protect your personal information?
The Company limits access to personal information to authorized employees, associates, partners and officers. Additionally, our third-party service providers are held to stringent standards of privacy and confidentiality. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information against loss, misuse, damage or modification and unauthorized access or disclosure. MCM maintains information security practices aligned with recognised frameworks including ISO/IEC 27001 or equivalent standards, and shall conduct periodic security audits of its systems and third-party processors. 5. Providing Company's personnel with relevant training and continually updating our security practices in light of new risks and developments in technology.
However, we cannot guarantee the privacy of personal information you transmit over the web or that is transmitted through channels outside MCM’s direct control. MCM shall promptly notify affected Data Principals and the Data Protection Board of any personal data breach in accordance with the requirements of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

E. What are your rights regarding the personal information collected by us?
The Company recognizes that individuals may wish to exercise certain controls over the personal information shared with us. If you wish to exercise any of your rights as a Data Principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including the right to: (i) obtain a summary of your personal data being processed; (ii) know the identities of third parties with whom your data has been shared; (iii) correct or update inaccurate or incomplete personal data; (iv) erase personal data that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected; (v) withdraw consent at any time; and (vi) file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India, you may submit a request by contacting us at: Email: askus@mychickenandmore.com

F. Data retention
We shall only retain your personal information for a period no longer than necessary to fulfil the specific purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law or regulatory obligation, whichever is longer. The following indicative retention periods shall apply: (i) Customer account and transaction data: 7 years from the date of last transaction (for GST/tax compliance); (ii) Customer support records and call recordings: 3 years; (iii) Marketing consents and opt-outs: until withdrawal of consent plus 3 years; (iv) Usage and device data: 12 months. Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, MCM shall securely delete or anonymise the relevant personal data.

G. Children’s privacy
Our Platform is not meant to be used by children, and we do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from persons under the age of 18 (eighteen). If we find out that a child has given us personal information, we will take steps to delete that information and terminate the relevant user account. MCM shall implement reasonable age-gating measures on the Platform to prevent collection of personal data from minors. Where MCM discovers that personal data of a person below the age of 18 has been collected without verifiable parental consent, it shall promptly delete such data and terminate the relevant account in accordance with DPDPA S.9.

J. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
